I had offered a PS leaflet in my previous post for giveaway. It seems I can't even give the leaflet away. LOL I will just put it aside till a later date.

In the meantime, I started working on some of Cross-eyed Cricket's acorns.

This was from an ornament kit exchange group I was in back in 2005. I finally stitched up the kits this year and this was the last of them.
This is from JCS ornament issue 2005 and is Twisted Oaks Christmas Tree design.

Arghh snow again & A GIVEAWAY

After 70's and 80's last week and 40's this week we have snow again....so far only an inch and not on the roads. Oh well, it's March in the midwest, so it can be expected.
Last night I did finish the last Prairie Schooler Kris Kringle.

More snow, so a stitching day was in store

60-70 degree weather this weekend and supposedly the rest of the week too, but this am we woke up to snow. We got over 5" here with varied amounts within 15 minutes from us.
So while the kiddo was sleeping in I 'had' to be quiet. LOL What an excuse to stitch. ;)
I worked on the next installment of Drawn Thread's calendar cover. Here is April. Used fabric from my stash as well as some of the fibers.

Frog is gone.

I was beginning to wonder if I was supposed to stitch this Blackbird Design. It's called Snow Garden.....I started it 4 times....first over 1, then decided I wanted it full sized. So I pulled out a piece of Stormy sky 32ct. even weave I had in my stash....got the house done and did NOT like the way the colors were turning out....they didn't look anything like the cover pic so I frogged the house and chose my own colors using 4 of called for colors but one of those for a different symbol.Then I got the border and house done and the border was off 1/2 thread so I had to frog all of it. Finally started and continued with no further problems.
