Well, here they are all finished....They really did go together pretty easy(my part of the finishing-stitching together & bead hanger) Mom's part of folding the seam back(around curves) was the tedious part. And yes, there are 2 missing from this series that I didn't stitch up.

Now I just need to do the same kind of thing for ALL of my CEC littles that are for several holidays....stars, pears, hearts, acorns....;) my work is cut out for me.

Rethinking it

okay, went through my xs and I only have 1 that is professionally framed that I won't hang again, so guess I will hang on to it....the rest are small enough as is the PS that I just finished that I'm going to stitchbook (scrapbook) them...they will either be in place of a photo in my stitching albums that I have with detail of all finishes or they will be incorporated into my family photo scrapbooks as the theme applies. So no selling of them I guess.

Tomorrow I hope to have a photo of my Blackbird designs Halloween stockings that have been stitched for several years and were assembled ready for me to whipstitch the layers together....they had gotten set aside last fall and I just pulled them out and have just a bit more to do then they are all done....so until tomorrow. Happy stitchng tonight.

A finish and a clearing house idea

Well here is my modified version of June.I left off the border and the top 1/2 of the chart and a bit on the lower. As I said, I decided against stitching this series but I couldn't let my start go unfinished. 

I decided I am going to try to sell this actual stitched piece. It measures 8 7/8 x 10....stitched area 4 3/4 x 5 3/8. I'd like $15.00 +actual postage for it.

I'm also going to go through my stitching that I've displayed for years and no longer have on display and see if there are pieces(I know there are) that I'd like to sell off. Why not let someone else enjoy them. Of course family will get to choose before I sell them. Will post as I get them chosen.

 ...And... I was going to do the PS month SAL but as I was stitching this piece I wasn't loving it....looks Just nan-ish to me with the peacock( I know I could have left it off). I love Just Nan, but this is supposed to be Prairie Schooler. I looked closer at the rest of the series and decided I didn't want to do them...so posted elsewhere and all those charts were snatched up. I feel better about it and will no longer be getting all PS charts as they come out...just ones I really like. BTW I've gone through all of my PS charts and realistically decided which ones to sell...so at photobucket & fb as well as my sale tab here I have them up for sale. On the tab here you will have to go to photobucket to see them....too many to post the pictures. Oh, and there are some OOP very reasonable.

Progress update

I'm currently working on 2 new starts....1 week on one then back to the other for a week.
I started Prairie Schooler June(am in a SAL at the Yahoo PS board for the monthly ones). I am working on this one this week.

This is another SAL I started well after it's start. I acquired the charts from a friend and I know a friend that is coveting them when I'm done, although mushy colors aren't usually to her liking. ;)

Fun one

This is a fun piece. The booklet has several cute labels to stitch. Thinking about doing a couple and it would be neat to copy them onto paper after stitching and decoupage them to canisters. Just a thought but I won't get to it for a while as I have several things I'd like to start up as well as many projects around the house if it would ever quit raining and warm up enough to work outside. We've had 26" of rain in the last 3 months not to mention tornados. Thankfully our area was spared but many were displaced.

Quick Stitch

I decided to throw in a quick stitch. This one just took a few stitching sessions over the weekend. I don't know how I am going to finish this but it will do with the others that are awaiting a marathon finishing session that will happen over the summer.
